Saga is a Massive Multi-player Online Real-Time Strategy (MMORTS) game developed by Wahoo Studios. The action takes place in a medieval fantasy setting. The game's world is persistent; therefore, everything you make in the game stays online even if you are not playing it. That is fine with RPGs where your character can simply go away, but with an RTS it is different. In Saga, what you have to do first is choose a race. Then you have to configure colors and name so you could customize your kingdom. That is why the kingdoms in the game are very different from each other. Now you can get in the game, and it plays and feels like your regular RTS. The graphics is good but it has small glitches sometimes. Now, the great thing about the game is that you don't have to wage war if you don't want to. You can complete quests in order to gain resources. But, of course, you can challenge another player to see which kingdom is the strongest. The game focuses a lot on diplomacy and alliances as well, which is a good thing. In fact, any newbie can hop right into the game and start playing without being caught in a crazy learning curve. The game does have flaws, mainly graphical, as I have already mentioned, but some are due to the amount of time it takes to get your buildings done and destroy your enemy's buildings. But that is also good, as the building when being destroyed is yours. In the end, Saga does manage to pull of the tricky MMORTS tag and it is a game RTS fans will love.
